THE WRITER SHADE OF PALE

There's an interesting and fun blog I follow. It is written by The Muse and is her vehicle for discussing both the perils and delights of being a writer. She also writes about lots of other things, too. You can find it here: http://thewritershadeofpale.blogspot.com/

It is well worth a look . . . and I love the clever name (based of course on the old Procol Harum song).

Live well . . .

A New Year . . . and the NDAA is there to greet us

A New Year is here . . . 2012. I have not posted on here since September last. Sorry about that. I have been busy with Facebook and then Twitter, both great ways to promote my ideas (Southern nationalism) and organization (The League of the South). However, I do intend to start blogging again. I don't think I'll have a shortage of material . . .

On the final day of 2011, President Obama signed into "law" the National Defense Authorization Act, which, among other things, allows him and his cronies to arrest and indefinitely detain American citizens for any reason whatsoever. The whole country has now been designated a "battlefield" (this indeed may become a self-fulfilling prophecy). In others words, habeas corpus is dead and we have a tyranny in the good old US of A. Who would have ever thought it (except those of us who have been warning about it for at least the last twenty years).

This is now the salient question: Will you allow it? If not, what will you do about it. Think hard . . . and live well.
